Week 4 - Update

Did not get done what I wanted to get done. Had a pretty busy week with working OT due to being short staffed at my day job and falling behind on English. This coming up week I plan to put double the time in to make up for week 4.

Week 3 - Changelog

This week I ran into a lot of issues with databinding sources as well as issues with SQL Sever Managment Studio. I seemed to fix my issues with unchecking a box in SSMS, however, databindings still seems to plague my project. No change log this week, a lot of late nights read up on fixing errors to solve problems.

Week 1

My project for CIS 248 Advanced App Development is an End of Day calculator for my current employer. Currently EoD is calculated by hand and can loop sloppy with whiteout/scratching out old numbers and in general the persons handwriting. My goal is to create an app that calculates your totals with a visual indicator of all the checks and totals for that day. It should also be able to tell if the till is short, long, or flush when calculating. As the weeks advance part two of the EoD calculator will include a DB for storing special ordered parts for an easier way to keep track of those special orders. Below are the first-week video and a link for the PowerPoint project.
